Postcards from London

The best places to go and things to do in London, as told by Trisha Estopiñan, @mamadoeseurope, on vacation from Paris for Christmas 2023.

What to do

Jurassic Tea at the Ampersand Hotel

This was the highlight for our kids! Dino-themed treats and activities to keep the kids busy made it a memorable activity.

Where to eat

Fisher’s Restaurant & Takeaway

You can’t go to London without fish and chips! These were 10/10!

Where to go

Stroll through St. James’s Park

This is a huge, beautiful park where you can see Buckingham Palace! There is a great playground right by the palace that the kids loved.

What to see

Westminster

Cross over Westminster Bridge and see the iconic Westminster Abbey and Big Ben. It’s beautiful, of course!

Covent Garden

Hard to pick, but this was our favorite area in London with loads of shops and restaurants. Be sure to stop by Apple Market and Neal’s Yard!

Insider Tip for Parents:

While the Natural History Museum is free (& there is a fantastic dinosaur section), you still want to get tickets online, with a time slot, to be able to skip a big line!
