Day 1

Landed at 5pm and popped to our vacation home in Battersea crossed the Andrew Bridge – a stunner at night! And dined at Cadogan Arms public house which should be on everyone’s London list!!!

Day 2
We visited Fortnums for tea blending and joy and Sketch London (below left) for the most fantastical tea! Their loos are egg pods, BTW. We stopped at Harrods for shopping and more snacks then finally The River Cafe London.

Day 3

We visited Westminster Abbey London, The London Eye and Arôme Bakery London for their honey butter baked brioche. Then head to The British Museum and ate at Dishoom in Battersea (short lines!)

Day 4

We did a Notting Hill excursion, visited Supermarket of Dreams – GO!! We did lots of walking and watching, as well as visited Ottolenghi Restaurant and Portobello road.

Day 5
We head out to the Cotswolds in the English Countryside. Visited Gails Bakery because you have to, right?! As well as Windsor Castle Surrey and Oxford University. Seriously…are we ALL retiring in the Cotswolds?! Finished up at The Fox at Oddington for a respite and The Stag at Stow in Stow on the Wold – the food is GREAT.

Day 6

The breakfast is particularly good at The Stag at Stow. Then we head off to more country adventures: Bibury Trout Farm and Highclere Castle. We stayed at a 14th century castle that night!

Day 7
Stonehenge – it’s pretty wild, if you can make the trek. We pushed back to London 3 minutes before St. John Restaurant stopped seating and finally checked into our Kid and Coe house in Forest Gate.

Day 8
London spots, including The Dusty Knuckle, Violet Cakes London (center), Tate Modern, Borough Market (left) and Neal’s Yard Dairy. Had a picnic style dinner at our Kid & Coe stay: The Clova Road Residence (right).

Day 9
The Globe, London Bridge, Towpath Cafe (left), more walking and tubes rides and getting in as much as possible! Our last meal was in Giovanna’s in Forest Gate. We love you London…can’t wait to return!
